Well, this is something you don’t see every day. Journalist Tori Yorgey was reporting from Dunbar, W. VA. for local news channel WSAZ when she was hit live on-air by a vehicle passing behind her. She was covering a water main break caused by bad weather that brought with it plenty of snow and ice and while getting ready to answer a question from the news anchor Tim Irr, a light coloured truck turned into her as it came to pass behind her....

Once lauded as the kings of video, Sony’s been lagging a little of late with their A7 mirrorless series. They’re still clinging onto that 8-Bit video while the rest of the world is going 10-Bit or even 12-Bit raw. But it seems that Sony might finally be going at least 10-Bit after a sensor spec, allegedly for the Sony A7S III was leaked to EOSHD. It’s an interesting looking sensor if the leak is accurate, that actually looks specifically suited to video rather than stills....

As you probably know, TIME Magazine has recently published a list of 100 most influential photos of all time. Of course, Tank Man can’t be left out from this list, since it’s definitely one of the most iconic and influential photos ever taken. Jeff Widener took it in Tiananmen Square in Beijing, when the Chinese troops attacked pro-democracy demonstrators. Thanks to Jeff and TIME Magazine, there is an interesting and moving video story about this photo and the conditions in which it was taken....
