Today, we did the same with the Z7’s standard resolution counterpart, the Nikon Z6. At 25 megapixels and just under $2000 MSRP, the Z6 is encroaching on the Sony A7 III’s turf. A new lens manufacturer, Omnar Lenses, has just introduced its very first product. The Omnar CN26-6 is a 26mm f/6 fixed-aperture lens for Leica M-mount, and it has an interesting twist. It gives a new life to the old Canon AF-10 point-and-shoot camera by using its optics. The Omnar CN26-6 is a rangefinder coupled from 0.67m to infinity and optionally can have uncoupled focusing down to ~0.3m. It’s a result of a collaboration between Hamish Gill and Christopher Andreyo, manual focus lens specialists and film photography enthusiasts....

It seems that the previous suggestion of Panasonic’s first full-frame mirrorless camera sharing the Leica L mount might actually be true. And not only that but according to the rumour mill, Sigma might be on-board with them, too. 43Rumors reports “with 100% certainty” that Panasonic, Leica and Sigma are working together on a new camera system. A collaboration between brands on a system that is compatible between the three. A bit like Micro Four Thirds, only a full frame version, and apparently without Olympus....

Three teenagers were arrested in Phoenix after allegedly shooting a photographer in Encanto Park. According to the Phoenix Police Department, the photographer was taking photos in the park when the boys asked him to take their picture. After photographing them, they shot him nine times, and it was the photos he’d taken that helped the police identify the suspects. Arlington, Texas, was long in the lead when it came to being this summer’s family vacation destination. However, sometime in May we arrived at that we wanted to revisit Italy.
