Each of us has our own style and our methods for editing photos. There are a few ways for color grading, and we can do it in different software. I have stumbled upon an interesting video from Eye Stocker for color grading in Photoshop. It uses only Solid Color Adjustment Layers and “Blend If” mode. It was published on April Fool’s Day, but it’s no joke – it works pretty well....
Filming myself is probably one of the more difficult things I’ve ever attempted to learn with a camera. It’s so easy when you’re filming other people when you have all of the camera’s controls at your fingertips and are able to quickly adjust. Filming yourself, though, is an entirely different set of skills. But they’re essential skills if you’re looking to start vlogging, which I have. I’m still no expert at it, and I still have a lot to learn....
I’m a creative minded person and feel very frustrated when the creativity strikes and I have nothing to photograph. This was the main reason I started making these cardboard models. I thought of all the everyday home items that could be used for creating figures. I found the boxes we used when we moved into our home are still in our garage. They had also “nice” package symbols on them which gave me a couple of ideas of the story that could be created around them and also ended up using them concretely on two of my pictures....
In the images above the Hubble image is on the left while the brand-new James Webb image is on the right. At first glance, you can see how much more detailed the Webb capture is. What looks like swathes of artistic colour in the Hubble telescope transform into millions of distant stars in Webb’s. The Pillars of Creation are an area where new stars are forming within dense clouds of gas and dust....
It’s been rumoured for a while, but now it’s finally here. Sony has now officially announced its new Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 G Master lens. Sony says it’s their 60th lens in the E mount lineup (I think they missed a trick there and should have released it 10 lenses ago, but nevermind) and offers “exquisite bokeh and high-performance autofocus in a compact and lightweight design”.
