Relatively new and unknown lens manufacturer, AstrHori, has announced a new 28mm f/13 2x Probe macro lens. It offers a waterproof design, allowing you to submerge the end into liquids while keeping your camera save above the water level, and comes in at about half the price of Laowa’s 24mm f/14 2x Macro Probe Lens. The new AstrHori lens full frame and is available in a whole bunch of different mounts including Sony E, Leica L, Nikon Z, Nikon F, Fuji X, PL, Canon RF and Canon EF-M....

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II was pretty much everything anybody could want in an entry level mirrorless camera. It’s fairly inexpensive, small, feels like quality in your hands, offers a great feature set, and produces great images. While the newly announced Mark III might not seem that different, it has received a couple of pretty significant upgrades. For a start, it now shoots 4K video at up to 30 frames per second....

The brand’s latest accessory though is a transparent back plate for the Steam Deck. This replaces the standard matte black back plate that comes on it originally. And yes, that does mean you would need to remove the factory back and put on the new one. With that being said, the process for doing so couldn’t be made simpler. When I first saw these orbs, I was almost sure that they we were computer generated. I was wrong. The orbs are a work of art from German Light Art master Bernhard Rauscher (a.k.a. lumenman), and were made using self made plexiglass blades. I was curious about the perfect orbs, so I reached out to Bernhard to learn how they were made. The first thing I learned is that those are called Light Planet and not Orbs :)...
