Initially announced a few months ago, Affinity Photo for Windows has been anxiously awaited. Today, it’s finally here in the form of a completely free public beta. Hailed as the only real potential competitor to Photoshop, Affinity Photo’s Windows debut opens it up to a much wider audience. With the current cost of “free” lasting throughout the public beta period, it will be interesting to see how many are won over....

Android Chrome Fix Means It Won T Just Be One Big Tab Group Anymore

The change in question seems small at first glance. Namely, Google Chrome on Android will no longer automatically open up clicked links in a new tab within a tab group — with the fix in place, they’ll open up as standalone tabs. For users who want to open the link within a tab group, as is the current default, a long-press will be needed. Then users will need to select the “Open in new tab in group” option directly....

Aputure Brings Bicolour Daylight And Rgb Led Panels And Bowens Mount Cob Lights To The Entry Level

Aputure has today released four new LED lights in their entry-level Amaran range. Two of them, the Amaran P60c and the Amaran P60x are LED panels and the other two, the Amaran COB 60d and Amaran COB 60x are Bowens mount LEDs. As the name suggests, they’re all 60 Watt lights and can be powered by NP-F batteries on location or included AC adapter. The two Bowens mount lights are the COB 60x and COB 60d, which are bicolour and daylight balanced lights respectively....
