When we think of shooting landscapes, typically it’s with pretty wide lenses. Most landscape photographers I know rarely shoot with anything that isn’t at least as wide as a 24mm on a full frame body. But does that mean you have to only shoot landscapes with a wide angle lens? Adobe have today announced the release of Adobe Photoshop CC 2017. This update comes along with new versions of Premiere Pro, After Effects and other software in the Creative Cloud package. One of the key themes coming through in each of the new announcements is productivity. But there’s a whole host of other new features, too. This goal of improving workflow efficiency is obvious in Photoshop with the addition of new document templates to help you get started more quickly....

Google has yet to add a description to the weather widgets on Android 12, which are simply called Weather. According to a 9to5Google report, the 3×3 widget now appears in a 4×2 size by default on the preview page. It gives prominence to the current temperature but also shows the maximum and minimum temperatures for the day along with a condition summary. You get a four-hour forecast with maximum temperature and the sky condition....

Unfortunately, Google once again refrains from telling what’s unchanging with version 7.9 of its driving companion app (via). That’s an annoying habit the company has developed. It doesn’t supply a changelog for Android Auto updates, whether it’s the beta build or the stable release. Users are on their own to find what’s new. As Android Auto 7.9 is just rolling out to beta testers, it could take a few days before users start noticing any changes....

Vogue recently hired famous photographer Annie Leibovitz to take photos of the United States Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. As perhaps we could have expected after those Simone Biles photos, people were all over Leibovitz over “poorly lit” images. Many have criticized the photographer over the “poor” lighting of Jackson’s brown skin. Some attempted to “fix” the photos and relight them. And some went as far as claiming that Leibovitz should not be allowed to photograph Black people....
