Well, this is one of the more disgusting photography-related bits of news I’ve heard lately. A Melbourne, Australia based photographer has been called out online after a photo was shared online of his “Consent and Release Form” which includes a “sexual arousal” clause and an agreement for “comfortable” models to “participate in sexual activity”. It is claimed that this is the contact he presents to models, which they must sign in order for a shoot to happen....

Photographer Benjamin Von Wong is known for his ambitious projects which often point to serious environmental issues we’re faced with. In his latest project named Strawpocalypse, his models “parted the sea” made of 168,000 used plastic straws. It took a lot of time and effort to build the installation. But it paid off: Ben took some fantastic images which send a message that we can do something to decrease pollution of the sea with plastic....

The coronavirus situation has the world’s population divided. On the one side, many aren’t worried. That it’s just SARS, MERS, Bird Flu or Ebola all over again and that it’ll blow over. On the other, some people are very worried, particularly organisers of large events such as MWC in Barcelona, CP+ in Tokyo and now GDC in San Francisco. TPS, NAB and Photokina all recently announced that they are still currently going ahead as planned, but the situation in Europe has changed since then....

Founded in 1993, Alien Skin Software would release one of the most ubiquitous Photoshop plugins of the late ’90s and early 2000s. Now, after 26 years, they’re changing their name to Exposure Software. The change follows their popular Exposure application and Photoshop plugin. It was made in 2006 “to help photographers develop beautiful images”, and is currently up to version “X4”. Exposure X5 is expected to be released this autumn...
