It seems that Nikon has finally realised that they can’t just keep releasing new bodies with small incremental updates every few years. Japanese website Newswitch recently published an interview with Nikon Senior Vice President Nobuyoshi Gokyu, where he stated that they want to “increase the development speed of new products”. He says that Nikon also wants to “shorten the lead time to put out new products”. That would be good, given that it’s over a year now since the Z6 and Z7 were announced, and we’ve not really seen anything new at all from them, camera-wise, since then other than a development announcement of the Nikon D6....

This week there are 10 total games being added to the GeForce NOW roster. Not the largest weekly drop but also not the smallest. And more importantly, it’s consistent. As this is around the same number of games being added most weeks. Some of the newly added titles are day and date releases. Meaning they’re hitting GeForce NOW around the same time that they were released for PC and consoles. So if you buy the games for PC, whether it’s through Steam or Epic, you can enjoy that new game in the cloud as well....

A few days ago, OM Digital tweeted out a little teaser that something was coming this week. The tweet doesn’t really give any hints as to what it’s going to be, but then a live stream popped up on the Olympus Live YouTube channel, set for Friday, April 2nd at 10am UK time (that’s 5am for US East Coast if all your clocks have gone forward). It doesn’t sound like they’ll be announcing any new gear, although perhaps we’ll hear at least something about the new camera OM Digital registered a few days ago....

Japanese site Nikkan is reporting that the Fuji GH5 is to come with 6K video. If true, this is very exciting and completely ridiculous. We’re only just getting used to 4K, and even most of that is being downsampled to 1080p. So, why might one need a 6K camera? Well, as more and more 4K TVs get into the homes of the general public, we’re eventually going to need to deliver 4K content....
