This is a feature that Atomos Sumo19 owners have been waiting a long time for. But now Atomos has released the AtomOS 9.2 update for the Sumo 19 allowing you to record four different camera signals, mix them in realtime, and output five separate recordings simultaneously. Atomos calls the feature “Touch and Switch”, and if you have no idea what the big deal is, we spoke with Atomos Founder & CEO Jeromy Young about it, amongst other things, recently at IBC 2019 in Amsterdam....
Despite the distinct lack of Nokishita in the rumour mill these days, it seems leaks are still coming through just fine. This time, it’s the new OM System camera (which many seem to be calling the “OM-1”) specs that have leaked in their entirety almost a week ahead of the official announcement on February 15th. And thanks to 43Rumors the complete PDF of the camera’s specs have been hosted online. Assuming the leak is accurate, then as rumoured, it does indeed feature a 20-megapixel sensor with a 5,184 x 3888 pixel resolution as well as High Res modes offering 80MP (10,368 x 7,776), 50MP (8,160 x 6,120) and 25MP (5,760 x 4,320) options....
I’ve had the great pleasure of using a few different types of filter holder systems over the years, but this one is different. Let’s take a look at H&Y’s version of the 100mm filter holder. I just wanted to take a note of the box art. I find it rather pleasing. Possibly as they remind me of the various Sigma boxes, I’ve had over the years. Vivo’s X90 and X90 Pro have been out in China for a little while now, but today sees their global international launch. Both smartphones feature Zeiss cameras, with the X90 Pro sporting a large 1-inch sensor. Both smartphones feature 50-megapixel Zeiss camera modules, with the non-Pro model also sporting 12-megapixel telephoto and wide-angle cameras. The X90 Pro, on the other hand, features 50-megapixel wide and 12-megapixel telephoto cameras. With Zeiss optics in both devices, featuring Zeiss’s T* lens coatings, pixel shift, dual-tone LED flash, HDR and panorama modes, the expectations are high for this one....
