We have seen people destroying works of art, nature, and their own lives while taking selfies. A few days ago, a visitor of an exhibition in Russia managed to ruin two works of iconic artists: Salvador Dalí and Francisco Goya. While the Goya painting only had the glass and the frame damaged, in Dalí’s case, the painting itself suffered the damage as well. The incident happened on 27 October at the International Arts Center in Yekaterinburg, Russia....

After the success of the DJI Mavic 2 and the “collaboration” (pretty much an acquisition) with Hasselblad, many folks were excited to see what would come in updated Mavic 3 models. And when it was officially announced in November, many jumped on that pre-order bandwagon. But upon receiving their drones, a few were disappointed stating that many of the features promised in DJI’s marketing weren’t there. DJI did say that they’d be releasing an update in January, but the consumer market has learned to not count its chickens in the electronics world when it comes to firmware updates....

Nikon has just added two new lenses for its Z-mount line. Nikkor Z 28-75mm f/2.8 is a lightweight zoom for your full-frame mirrorless Nikon, and the company boasts by making “the sleekest f/2.8 zoom for FX-format cameras it’s ever produced.” Other than the new zoom, a super-telephoto 800mm f/6.3 prime is coming, too. It’s still in the works, but Nikon used the opportunity to present that one to the public as well....

Godox flashes have become wildly popular over the last couple of years amongst Nikon and Canon shooters. They’re relatively inexpensive, very well built, and offer a full range of lights from speedlights to 1200Ws of strobe power. What makes Godox’s products really stand out, though, is that they can all be controlled from the same trigger. Mix speedlights and strobes, in the studio or on location, and have complete remote control....
