There’s two things you can be fairly sure of whenever Nikon or Canon release a new DSLR. The first is that you’ll need to wait for Adobe to update ACR/Lightroom to be able to read the raw files. The other is that some Sigma lenses will have compatibility issues, and need a firmware update. And so, Sigma have released an advisory for certain Art and other lenses when being used with some of the newer Canon bodies....
The deal is believed to be a short-term deal, and it could be as short as one year. These games would still be available on the Sinclair Bally Sports regional sports networks, and the streamed games would not be available nationally. This new NBA deal is pretty similar to what Sinclair reached with the NHL. Bloomberg has also reported that Sinclair is closing in on $600 million in financing to help launch the service later this year....

SmugMug has acquired the popular photography podcast, This Week in Photo – otherwise known as TWiP. It’s the second acquisition by the company after picking up Flickr in 2018. As well as acquiring the podcast itself, TWiP Editor in Chief Frederick Van Johnson is also joining SmugMug. He will lead content and new media while maintaining his role with TWiP to help it continue to grow and evolve. SmugMug+Flickr VP of Marketing, Scott Kinzie says that “It’s an ideal match”, with both companies and TWiP having the goal of increasing the influence and impact of photography worldwide....
So, there’s still no news from Sony about the mythical A7S III, but they are working on 8K sensors for smaller cameras. In this case, though, it’s not full-frame, or even APS-C, but Micro Four Thirds. They have just released the spec sheet for a new IMX492 47-megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor that offers 17:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios. And it offers them in 8K resolution at up to 30 frames per second....
