The buzz regarding a possible new entry-level Canon RF mount mirrorless camera has been getting quite intense over the last few days. And now, just the evening before an official announcement is expected, the entire spec sheet seems to have leaked. The complete spec sheet is down below, and I guess we’ll find out tomorrow just how accurate it is, assuming the announcement actually comes tomorrow. But here are the highlights....

There’s a new Kickstarter up from a company going by the name of Negative Supply. It’s for the “Film Carrier Mk1”, a 35mm roll film holder for “scanning” with your DSLR or mirrorless camera. Not exactly a new idea, although they think they’ve come up with a new way of doing it. For those developing their own film, it could be a handy way to get your shots into the computer quickly with the least amount of fuss....

Vision Research has announced its new Phantom cameras. The first is the TMX 5010, which is considered an entry-level camera in the Phantom TMX series – yet still goes up to 1.16 million frames per second. This series also includes cameras like the insanely fast TMX7510 (which goes all the way up to 1.75 million frames per second). The other is the T3610, which only goes up to a relatively modest 875,000 frames per second at minimum resolution....

The shut down for The Witcher: Monster Slayer may not come as a surprise to some. The AR mobile game formula has been attempted by many a studio since the wild success of Niantic’s Pokémon GO. But few games if any have recaptured that same success. That being said, players definitely still seemed to enjoy being a Witcher in real life. CDPR says that to date, players have slain over 100 million monsters worldwide....
