You’ll spot some really well-known apps here, such as Uber and Lyft, but also some that you may not have heard about. Some of these apps may be region-specific, though, so keep that in mind as well. Tracking down a taxi is not always easy, so having at least one of these apps installed on your phone may not be a bad idea. Games are here only for the fun factor, and they’re the only ones that include in-app purchases....
According to The Verge, the Twitter board has released a statement to clarify their actions against Musk’s offer. The board says they adopted the plan “following an unsolicited, non-binding proposal to acquire Twitter”. This could be a big damage to Musk’s efforts and vanish his hopes for acquiring the 100-percent of Twitter. “The Rights Plan is intended to enable all shareholders to realize the full value of their investment in Twitter....
Vazen is a relatively new Chinese lens manufacturer that only really seems to have come onto the scene last year. But they jumped straight in with the anamorphic lenses, initially launching a 40mm T2 1.8x for Micro Four Thirds and following it up in February of this year with the promised 28mm T2.2 1.8x for MFT. Today, though, Vazen has announced a new addition to their lineup. But this one’s not for Micro Four Thirds....
Now, a “mute” on Twitter isn’t quite the same as learning how to block a user on the platform. Not least of all, because a mute just puts a stop to an account showing up in your feed. As opposed to silencing them entirely. And, of course, you won’t get notifications from the user either. Which can be useful. Particularly if you don’t want to remove somebody entirely or clue them in about having been silenced....
In January 2015, the Space Needle in Seattle had a 360 webcam installed. Over the past three years, the camera has been taking a 360 panorama of the city every ten minutes. Google engineer Ricardo Martin Brualla decided to turn the three-years worth of images into a timelapse of the city. As a result, you can see the seasons changing and the city growing before your eyes, in under four minutes....
