According to flatpanelshd, Roku wants to launch smart TVs equipped with the company’s exclusive operating system. This could be a strange move by Roku because it could easily license its OS to other manufacturers. However, launching a lineup of smart TVs would be good news for Roku fans. As per the Business Insider report, “[Roku] showed different models, feature sets and names, sizes, price points. This is a manufacturing operation. They want to go into making their own TVs....
“Natural light photographers” is a strange term. To some it’s a badge of honour, stating that they either don’t need to use flash to get what they want, or that they simply don’t like “the look of flash”. To others, it’s generally derogatory, suggesting that somebody only uses natural light simply because they don’t know how to use flash. But both are excellent options for lighting up a subject. The sizes and prices are basically the same as their Roku versions. But now with Google TV built-in. For the 5-Series, you’re looking at 50-inches for $599, and it goes up to 75-inches at $1,299. The 6-Series is a bit more expensive, starting at $999 for 55-inches and going up to $1,799 for the 75-inch model. These will be sold initially at Best Buy. And then move onto other retailers in the near future....
