Despite the changes in system requirements, Android Auto continued to work on older devices as long as users don’t update or uninstall the app. But Google doesn’t allow that anymore. It is forcing users to update the app to the latest version. Opening an older version of the app now shows a pop-up notice with an “update” button. The notice can’t be dismissed, thus preventing users from accessing Android Auto. They must update the app to continue using it....

As of this writing, the new SMR (security maintenance release) for the carrier-locked Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G781U) is available to users on Sprint and T-Mobile networks in the US. The OTA (over the air) should soon be reach units on other carrier networks as well. The update comes with firmware version G781USQS6EVB1. Samsung has already published the content of the February 2022 SMR. It brings fixes for over 60 vulnerabilities from the Korean brand as well as Google....

SamMobile notes that the Galaxy S21 Ultra has been out of stock on a handful of Samsung websites around the world. The device has also disappeared from the Samsung U.S. website. And by the looks of it, it isn’t coming back. It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+ still appear to be in stock. But getting these devices (without a massive discount) doesn’t make sense given that the new and improved models are only weeks away....
