There’s been a lot of doubt and confusion since Adobe’s announcement about Lightroom CC. Standalone Lightroom has disappeared. The old Lightroom CC is now “Lightroom Classic”, and a lot suspect that Adobe plan to eventually phase it out. According to a blog post on the Adobe Lightroom Journal, though, Adobe say they’re absolutely not planning to kill it. They say that they “remain committed to investing in Lightroom Classic in the future”....
This is the one that many Panasonic video shooters have been waiting for. And it seems to have many of the features they’ve been asking for, too. The Panasonic GH5 has a new 20.3MP sensor with no low-pass filter, new processor, dual SD card slots, and in-body stabilisation. It boasts the highest ISO capabilities of any Lumix camera, for outstanding low light shots. It also has a new 225 point AF system, up from the GH4’s 49 point AF, which can track moving subjects for both stills and video....
Well, this was unexpected. Panasonic is apparently going to announce their first full frame mirrorless camera this month, in only three weeks. Yes, a full frame Panasonic mirrorless camera. At least, that’s according to 4/3 Rumors. Apparently, the camera will be officially announced on September 25th, but if this is indeed true, I’ll bet a certain website will have leaks available before then. The Nikon Z6 & Z7 mirrorless cameras seem to have split photographers down the middle....
Mark Aragon, staff photographer of Jackson-Winkeljohn, was recently ban from covering UFC fights. On December 30, 2017, Aragon covered a fight between Holly Holm of Jackson-Winkeljohn and Cris Cyborg. After the fight, he posted a photo of Cyborg to his Instagram, calling her a “dude” and referring to her as a male. The post resulted in a public backlash, and it eventually got UFC to pull Aragon’s media credentials for future fights....
It’s nothing new that politicians use notes and cue cards when giving speeches. But a recent AP photo shows that Donald Trump uses notes that remind him to be sympathetic. AP photographer Carolyn Kaster managed to capture the notes president Trump used when meeting people impacted by the mass school shootings across the US. The photo made the public worried and caused a lot of reaction. On Wednesday 21 February, Donald Trump met with those impacted by the mass school shootings, some of them being the survivors....
