There’s been a lot of talk about Canon’s new EOS R5 and EOS R6 cameras overheating since their announcement and people took a closer look at the documentation. But it seems that Canon might be doing something to address it. Canon Rumors reports that Canon is planning to release several new EF to RF adapters this year and a Canon patent discovered by the folks at Canon News suggests that one of them might have an active cooling solution to address the overheating concerns in their new mirrorless cameras....

We’ve seen some funny photography-related products before. The latest one we’ve stubmbled upon has been introduced by Japanese tripod manufacturer Velbon. Is it a tripod? Is it a chair? Well, it’s actually both. If you want to stabilize both your camera and your butt, Velbon is soon to launch Chairpod, a tripod that doubles as a folding chair. According to DC Watch, the Chairpod HY 127 was originally introduced at CP+ 2017....

With a lot of the overheating controversy from the video crowd (which Canon has been working on), we have to remember that ultimately the Canon EOS R5 is primarily a stills camera. And it’s a rather good one, too. It has top-notch autofocus that even beats Sony in some aspects and plenty of speed when it comes to shooting. But how does the ISO stand up in the real world? We’ve seen some tests in more controlled conditions, but out in the wild things can often be a little different....

There are a lot of tips and advice out there for all kinds of different genres of photography. Most of them involve technique or buying more gear. Very little is about our behaviour and mindset. This video from Mark Denney, though, is a little different. In it, he presents four habits he’s developed over the last few years that have helped him with his workflow to improve his landscape photography.
