You can tell Photokina’s coming. The announcement rumours are coming through thick and fast right now. Since the Nikon Z6/Z7 announcement, we’ve seen full frame mirrorlesss announcement rumours for Canon and Panasonic. And we’ve already seen one from Fuji for the impending X-T3. But it looks like Fuji has another trick up their sleeve. The Fujifilm GFX 50R, a new “affordable” medium format mirrorless camera. Fuji Addict reports that it’s expected to be announced on September 23rd, and the first photo of the new camera has been leaked on Weibo....
Well, these are some pretty significant updates to the Nikon Z9. Nikon has today announced the new version 2.0 firmware for the Nikon Z9. It brings with it a host of interesting new features for both photographers and filmmakers including internal 12-Bit ProRes RAW recording at 4.1K up to 60fps and 12-Bit N-RAW recording for 8.3K. 4K footage can now be oversampled from 8K and you also get finer ISO control with 1/6th step increments....
We all know how important social media platforms are these days for promotion our brand. In the case of Australian blogger, Jessa O’Brien, (a.k.a. thenudeblogger), that platform is Instagram. With over 43,000 followers, it’s certainly helping her to get her blog out in front of an audience. But she hit a snag when Instagram shut down her account. Instagram parent, Facebook, has a fairly strict “no nudity” policy. So, it wasn’t really all that much of a surprise....
I knew we’d see a smaller interchangeable lens Raspberry Pi-powered camera than the Paparazzo at some point. This one’s a little different, though. Instead of walking around and shooting pictures like a regular camera, this one requires a little external tech to access it. But you can access it from anywhere in the world, whether it be right next to you on your desk or literally on the opposite side of the planet – as long as it’s connected to the Internet....
