But this one from Andreas Epp – who goes by FuzzyLogic on YouTube – is a really slick design. Not only is it a thing of mechanical beauty, but it also seems to rival many commercially available systems out there, too. Virtual reality might be the buzz of the town, but a new company called Scandy wants the world to know that the world of 360º content isn’t destined only for headsets. Today, the company announced it’s raised one million dollars to start mass production on their ‘Scandy Spheres,’ a ball-shaped object that has a 360º image printed into them. The process for creating the image and getting it printed is fairly straightforward....

When I mention the most boring, uninspiring type of images, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Passport photos, of course. But Namibian-German visual artist Max Siedentopf found his inspiration in them and he managed to turn them the other way around. In his project Passport Photos, these images are anything but boring! I have to admit, I’d never really given this movie poster much thought as a kid or ever, actually. Sure, I was a big fan of TNMT and loved the movie when I was younger, but always assumed that the poster for it was some kind of illustration – as seemed to be the trend. The Ural- 375, which was once a Russian military truck, will get a completely new and unique role – and a more peaceful one. Thanks to a successfully backed Kickstarter campaign, Kurt will reconstruct a truck so it functions as a glass-plate camera....
