Timelapses are a lot of fun to shoot. I don’t shoot them anywhere near as often as I would like, but I try to shoot them as often as I possibly can. Shooting them in daylight, though, can present some challenges, especially if you have fast-moving subjects like people or vehicles. Yes, when it comes to timelapse, people are fast moving subjects. It often results in very jerky motion with one frame looking drastically different from the last, losing that flow of motion we like to see in a timelapse....

Astronomers estimate that there are 100 million lonely black holes drifting through our galaxy. Despite such a huge number, they’re virtually invisible and extremely difficult to detect. But now, for the first time in history, NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has managed to help scientists to identify one of these lonely wanderers. They used Hubble’s data to identify and even measure the mass of the black hole wandering through our galaxy....

Earlier this year, Instagram announced that they were about to unroll a feature that would tell you how much time you spent on the app. It took six months, but the feature is finally being rolled out for the users worldwide. Back in May, the reports on Twitter appeared about the upcoming feature. Charlie Beswick, mom of a boy with Goldenhar syndrome, recently faced Instagram deleting a photo of her son after the user’s reports. One of her twin boys, Harry, was born with this rare disorder, so he has no left eye, eye socket, nostril or left ear. He has a prosthetic eye, but when Charlie posted a photo without it – Instagram took it down two days later. Reportedly, an anonymous user reported the photo to Instagram’s content moderation team....
