It’s been a mere couple of days since Canon announced the release of not one, but two new mirrorless APS-C cameras. And now they’ve already issued an apology for severe delays in meeting demand for their new products, the Canon EOS R7, EOS R10, and the RF-S lenses. The two new cameras add to Canon’s existing mirrorless line-up of RF mount cameras but are the first crop sensor camera bodies to be included in the mirrorless range....

Canon filed a patent for a 28-560mm f/2.8-5.6L IS lens just a few short months ago. Now, they’ve taken out the image stabilisation and filed another. Many believed that the previous filing was just another patent that would never actually exist in the real world. This new filing suggests that it might happen after all. It’s been rumoured for a while that Canon have been working on a replacement for the 28-300mm f/3....

According to serial-leakers Nokishita, Canon’s new mirrorless camera will be announced at some point during the next four weeks. They’ve just posted a list for new product announcements coming in September that includes a new “EOS R” camera, along with four “RF” mount lenses, along with a few EF and EF-M lenses. We’ve been hearing for a couple of days about the possible name for Canon’s new mirrorless camera. But Nokishita seems to claim a solid confirmation....
