We’ve posted a lot about the Canon EOS R3 over the last few months, even before its official release announcement. We’ve heard a lot about it from Jeff Cable, too, although for some of that, he couldn’t admit that it actually was the Canon EOS R3 he was using at the time. Jeff’s spoken a little about using the EOS R3 since the announcement, too. Now, though, in an interview with Steve Brazill from Behind The Shot, Jeff really opens up and reflects on what it was like to use the EOS R3 during a high-pressure event like the Olympics, Canon’s secrecy around new gear announcements and how the EXIF data was “leaked” from his images....
In 2020, actress and singer Hilary Duff publicly called out a photographer who was taking photos at her kid’s soccer game. She filmed him with his phone, posted the video on her Instagram, and publicly called him “a creep.” She later discussed the incident on a talk show, and the photographer decided to sue her and the show host for defamation. However, it appears that being publicly called out isn’t enough to win a slander lawsuit....
An Instagram post from Kodak recently infuriated Chinese people. In fact, it caused so much backlash that Kodak deleted the post and issued a public apology. The company shared a photo by French documentary photographer Patrick Wack, showing the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. They linked the photographer’s account which mentions the mass detentions of the Uyghur people in the area, which caused a fierce backlash. Patrick Wack took photos in the areas of Central Asia known as East Turkistan or Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region....
Apple sure is going all out on their iPhone advertising campaigns right now, aren’t they? After a fairly non-challenging (from a technical standpoint) Selena Gomez music video and the incredible “Snowbrawl” by John Wick director, David Leitch, now it turns out that Lady Gaga’s much anticipated new single, “Stupid Love” was also shot entirely using the iPhone 11 Pro. It does seem to have had a lot of work done to it in post, though....
