Godox’s range of lithium-ion powered speedlights have been incredibly popular since they were first introduced. The original V850 and V860 speedlights were an instant hit. They had great recycle times with a lot of battery capacity to keep going all day. Followed up by the V850II and V860II with built in 2.4Ghz receivers that have proven equally popular. Then they announced the TT350 – A smaller form factor speedlight that many opt to use on their hotshoe as a commander....

Chinese lighting manufacturer Godox has already released a few products in 2017 that have helped a lot of strobists build lighting kits with a modest investment. Most notably the Godox AD-200 (Flashpoint eVolv) has become a crowd favorite for a portable and powerhouse flash. More recently they added Fuji and Olympus/Panasonic versions of the TT350 (Flashpoint Zoom-Mini R2 TTL), which is a smaller speedlight aimed to be a better fit for mirrorless cameras....

Google haven’t so much announced as “slipped in” that they’ve ceased development of the Nik Collection via a banner. Google acquired Nik Software, the company behind the Collection, in 2012. It was only just over a year ago that Google announced it was making the Nik Collection a completely free download for all users. Now, it seems, that the new price tag doesn’t justify continued development. The Nik Collection contains seven applications....

Hasselblad’s X1D camera was announced last year with much fanfare. The world’s first mirrorless medium format camera.
