The winning images from the Storm Photo of the Year Awards have been announced. All the images were taken over the course of 2021, and the competition is divided into three categories: Photo of the Year, Tornado Photo of the Year and Photographer of the Year. The first two sought to find the most incredible, single photos taken from the prior year in their respective categories. And the third (portfolio) award looked to recognize the achievement of putting together an amazing set of 10 images taken in 2021....

When we spend some time staring at a photo and editing it, it’s easy to make mistakes and overdo some of the settings. Consequently, the photo will look unnatural. This weekend, I took a photo walk with my cousin, who is also a professional photographer. We were joking about a bottle of nail polish in a mesh pocket of her camera bag. “Have you ever considered writing an article about the content of a girl’s camera bag?” she asked. “As a matter of fact, I have.” I’d totally forgot about it, and I’m glad that she reminded me. Even thought Tamron has been struggling with lens issues for Nikon and Sony, it looks like that doesn’t stop them from releasing the long-awaited “all in one” lens. After leaked photos and a flyer with some more info, the Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD is now officially announced. Preorders are open and it should start shipping soon. And just like we assumed, it’s available for Sony E mount only (at least for now)....

Techart seems to be driven by letting photographers put as many different types of lenses on their cameras as possible, and right now they’re focusing on Z mount. After releasing the Sony E lens to Nikon Z mount adapter a few months ago, they’ve taken aim towards the Canon EF lenses, and have just announced their new TZC-01 adapter, which allows you to mount those Canon EF lenses onto the Nikon Z cameras....
