Comica has announced its new Comica BoomX-D Pro wireless microphone system. There are two packages available including one receiver and either one or two transmitters that have a built-in microphone as well as the ability to plug in an external lav – one of which is included in the kit for each of your transmitters. The BoomX-D Pro microphone system includes a couple of features that so far have only been found in the Rode Wireless GO II....
Well, I guess now we know why the US Army pulled all of its DJI products from service. DJI have removed the JPush plugin from the DJI Go and DJI Go 4 apps. It turns out that it had been collecting user data without its knowledge. Not without the user’s knowledge, without DJI’s knowledge. DJI blame the third party developer who created the JPush plugin. The Verge reports that JPush wouldn’t have needed to collect a lot of data to do its job....
Does the gear you use matter? Well, as with most questions, yes… and no. As someone who makes their living from using a camera should I be worried when I see how easy is it for “normal people” to take amazing photos? We live in a golden age for people who love using cameras. I think it would be hard to get a camera these days that takes a bad picture or video in even semi-decent conditions....
