Hollyland has today announced a new addition to their Mars series video transmission systems – the Hollyland Mars X. It’s designed to be a more cost-effective wireless video system for entry-level users than Hollyland’s other systems like the Mars 400S (review here). The Hollyland Mars X is a transmitter-only system. There’s no receiver here for plugging in an external monitor. Instead lets you to take a feed from your camera’s HDMI output and transmit it wirelessly to your Android and iOS devices, allowing you view what your camera sees on up to three devices simultaneously....

The Kodak Ektachrome E100 film is finally being shipped to distributors worldwide, and some of us can’t wait to get our hands on a few rolls of it. Photographer Peter Guttman was lucky to be one of the few beta testers of the film, and he kindly shared with DIYP some of the images he took. And just as I imagined – they’re gorgeous. Guttman is the author of eight books and an award-winning photographer....

There is always some kind of curiosity about what your apartment neighbours are getting up to. Are they really playing skittles in their hallway at midnight and does the girl upstairs really wear 10-inch heeled wooden clogs as she dances across the bedroom at 3:47 am? One creative media and photography duo took that curiosity a step further and created a huge Rear Window-esque set and composite large format image based on what goes on behind each of the windows of an apartment....

West Yorkshire Police recently arrested a gang in Leeds that stole luxury cars. The police reportedly found them thanks to Instagram, as they posted a selfie with a stolen car to brag about the theft. Furthermore, they even shared a video showing them driving around in the stolen car. Clever, right? According to the police report, the gang of young men used a pseudonym “Mr. Dingers” on Instagram. Apparently, “dingers” is a British slang for stolen cars....
