7,500 light-years away (or approximately 44,090,000,000,000,000 miles) from our tiny rock floating through space is the Soul Nebula (also known as Westerhout 5) in the constellation of Cassiopeia. And in one tiny section of that nebula is J025157.5+600606, a dense gaseous formation in which planets are born. They’re called Free-floating Evaporating Gaseous Globules (FrEGGs – no, not these), which were only discovered a few years ago. This particular one occupies an extremely small part of the Soul Nebula and Hubble just shot a photo of it that looks just amazing....

Instagram has enabled automatic translation in Stories, and it’s already available for all users worldwide. I first noticed the feature this morning when I mindlessly browsed through Stories of the people I follow....

When I first came across this, it sounded a little far fetched. And it’s not a dig at how good or bad the iPhone 7 Plus waterproofing is. Apple don’t claim that it is waterproof. Simply splash proof, and that it can survive immersion in water up to one meter for short periods. So, it shouldn’t die if you drop it in a puddle or down the toilet. Tests on YouTube have revealed that it actually seems to handle things fairly well, all things considered....

In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Leica announced the three winners of the annual Leica Women Foto Project Award.
