After a few months of rumours, leaks and speculation, DJI has now officially announced the DJI Mavic Air 2, and it has a few pretty significant upgrades over its predecessor. It boasts a 48-megapixel camera capable of shooting 8K timelapse, 4K video at up to 60 frames per second, HDR video, and a very impressive 34-minute flight time. The Mavic Air 2 seems to have all grown up in its latest iteration, seeing a Mavic 2-inspired design, looking a lot less like a toy than the original....

OK, those are not the exact words of Getty, but this is what their response feels like. As you may recall we reported this 1 Billion dollars lawsuit back in July. If you want the background, Getty sent an infringement notice to one Carol M. Highsmith. Here is the funny thing. Carol M. Highsmith was the photographer who took the photo in the first place. In response, Carol sued Getty for 1 billion dollars for “gross misuse” of 18,755 of her photographs, she claims that Getty “falsely and fraudulently holding themselves out as the exclusive copyright owner” (The amount comes from $25K per image in statutory damages times three)....

When it comes to lights, we used to have a pretty good distinction. Godox did Strobes, and Aputure did LEDs. Of course, we had the occasional SL 60 or SL 200, but generally, it was quite a split world. Now Godox are expanding into the LED market with a Bowens type light, and it looks like it is aimed to directly compete with Aputure’s line of 120D and 300D. Still not formally announced, Godox is showing two new Bowens mount LEDs at IBC 2019....
