Photo community and a contest platform Viewbug has launched a new service that helps you make money by photographing strangers. It’s called Viewbug Gigs, and it lets you upload your photos of people you take in the street, at events, at the beach, or any other place. The concept requires you to share your Viewbug profile with these people and have them buy photos of themselves that you took. The concept sounds cool, but it does have certain drawbacks, and we’ll go through them in this article....

Sometimes, branding or naming products doesn’t always go as a company intends. They call it one thing, they want us to call it that thing, but then the general public calls it something else. Apparently, Nikon’s two new mirrorless cameras are a case of this. According to Nikon, they’re not the Nikon Z6 and Z7, they’re the “Z 6” and “Z 7”. The space is, apparently, important, although the world doesn’t seem to care – or have noticed....

As well as the recent announcement of a new 60mm f/2 macro lens, Yongnuo have a new listing on their website for a YN43 camera module. But it’s a strange looking little unit. There’s no specifications listed on the Yongnuo website yet, but it appears to contain a Micro Four Thirds sensor. The name “YN43” would also suggest a Micro Four Thirds sensor. It’s shown in one product photo with an iPhone mounted to one side of it....
