Godox has announced a new S-R1 Round Head Accessories Adapter (B&H) for their speedlights to be able to use them with the magnetic modifiers. The magnetic modifiers are part of the Godox AK-R1 accessories kit (B&H) for the H200R Round Head for the Godox AD200. It’s not quite the round head speedlight we’ve been expecting, but it’ll certainly come in very useful for those who want to be able to use those AK-R1 modifiers on their speedlights while we wait....

In the summer of 2016, photographer Jeffrey L Bennett experimented with creating animated GIFs using multiple cameras. He wanted to animate a moment, frozen in time, from several angles. It wasn’t my first experience with animated sequences of images, for years I’ve been incorporating animated GIFs in my wedding, engagement and portrait work. They have been a big hit with my clients. I created the animations below using bursts of still shots from a single camera (other photographers are making cinemagraphs from video, but I preferred the stop-motion look of a group of still)....

Canon’s EOS 5DS and 5DSR have proven quite popular amongst landscape, architecture, product, macro and other photographers who demand high resolutions over speed. But they were released in 2015 and Canon has shown no indication that they’ll be replaced by an upcoming DSLR. A high-resolution EOS R mirrorless model, however, has been rumoured for a while now. Now it looks like the folks at Canon Rumors have managed to get their hands on some possible specs for the new high-res mirrorless, which they’re dubbing the “EOS Rs”....
