It looks like Canon may be hoping to succeed where Nikon failed with its short-lived KeyMission series of cameras. The folks at Cinema5D spotted a rather interesting looking camera on the Canon stand at CP+ 2019 this year, and so they had a quick chat with them about it. Canon USA have announced an update to their Video Creator Kits offerings with two new kits containing their newest cameras, including the EOS 80D DSLR, and the EOS M3 mirrorless. The kits are designed to be an all-in-one solution for independent YouTube content creators who don’t want to have to figure out everything they need to get up and running quickly. These new kits join the existing packages based around the Rebel T5i (EOS 700D), Rebel T6i (EOS 750D) and EOS 70D DSLR bodies....
It’s hard to get smooth video without stabilizer, that’s for sure. But unfortunately, sometimes you’ll be stuck without it and you’ll have to improvise. There are various tricks for stabilization, and Ted Sim from Apurture shares six DIY hacks each of us can use. They involve readily available items, and some of them even involve relying only on your body and don’t require any props. So whichever situation you find yourself in, you will find at least one of these tricks handy for getting smoother footage....
I’ve made this joke many times, but nobody laughed. It made sense to me. Glasses are lenses. Lenses need to be clean in order to perform their function. If you a photographer has dirty eyeglasses, how could you possibly trust them?But I missed something important. For one, glasses that are dirty are still better than no glasses at all. I should know. I am practically blind without optical correction. My glasses are filthy on occasion, but when they are, they are still better than uncorrected vision....
