Photographing famous landmarks is something most of us do when we travel. It’s always a nice memory, but honestly speaking – it’s hard to make these photos original. But British photographer Rich McCor (or Paper Boyo) has found a way to do it. His photos of landmarks are definitely unique, yet the solution he found is stunningly simple. Rich uses black paper cutouts and transforms the landmarks into something completely new....

It’s been so long that Instagram switched to “curated feed,” that most of us don’t have our hopes up to see posts in chronological order again. However, it’s about to happen after all! Early next year, Instagram says that it will introduce chronological feed again – well, at least for those who still want it. “We want people to have meaningful control over their experience,” Instagram writes in an announcement. “We’ve been experimenting with Favorites, a way for you to decide whose posts you want to see higher up, and we’re working on another option to see posts from people you follow in chronological order....

New leaked videos suggest that DJI’s finally stepping up to the plate to bring more advanced features like obstacle avoidance to its <250g product line, the DJI Mini. It’s not much of a surprise considering that Autel recently released their Evo Nano/Nano+ (review here), which are currently the only <250g drones on the market to feature it. The DJI Mini 3 is also expected to come with improved camera performance and video stabilisation and longer flight time....

Lightroom Mobile for Android has had some Raw support for a while now, at least when you’re using the phone’s built in camera, but now Adobe have broadened this capability, adding support for Nikon, Canon and other Raw formats to Lightroom Mobile for both Android and iOS. Local adjustments have also been added, like those found in the desktop version of Lightroom, which is a very useful and welcome feature. We’ve also been the ability to embed copyright information into imported images....

Today, Macphun announced the release of the latest version of their HDR creation software. Aurora HD 2018 will soon be available for preorders, and what’s more – for the first time, it will be available for PC, and not only for Mac. The software was co-developed with photographer Trey Ratcliff, with the goal of simplifying the complex HDR editing. Since its launch in November 2015, it reached 1.7 million users. There have been more than 10 updates since then, and the latest one comes with improvements and new features....
