Contrary to another photographer’s opinion (one that is held by many others), there seems to be this doomsday cult that believes camera phones are going to make DSLR and mirrorless cameras extinct. And it’s certainly an opinion that has a semblance of logic behind it, given that there are far more photos being taken by phones today than DSLR and mirrorless cameras combined. Yet the idea of shooting primarily on an iPhone doesn’t sit right with myself, and that of my clients who would sack me from the job if I had to shoot it on an iPhone!...

Earlier this month, GQ magazine published an article about a group of tech titans who visited Brunello Cucinelli’s Italian village. The photo following the article showed fifteen men and two women from Silicon Valley. But something about the photo looked off. It’s probably not that much of a surprise to most of us who actually use large storage drives but there seems to be a big trend lately, a whole flurry of drives popping up on sites like AliExpress and even Walmart claiming some pretty insane capacities at an even more insane price. Thanks to a recent trend on Twitter, people are publishing bad stock photos of their jobs. They represent them in a completely inaccurate and unprofessional way, often even inappropriate – but every time it’s completely hilarious.
