The “brains” behind the visual systems in drones now is just nuts. Even modest consumer drones have facial recognition, subject tracking, and similar features. All these features and help us to achieve the best shot possible. A team of research from MIT and ETH Zurich have now taken things way beyond that which is currently available to the masses....

There seem to be a lot of very fast lens options these days, even for full-frame cameras. Very few are them are coming from the long-established big-name companies like the camera manufacturers themselves or even Sigma and Tamron, but there are a lot of manual focus ones coming from some of the newer Chinese lens manufacturers. The blend of instant cameras and modern technologies opens up a lot of creative possibilities. Martin Fasani has created FS2, a simple DIY 3D-printed instant camera. But instead of printing your images – this camera sends them to the cloud straight away. Martin uses a 3D-printed housing for storing the hardware if his “instant camera.” Inside, there’s t the ESP board, an ArduCAM camera module, and a shutter button. The camera is powered by a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery, and there’s an Adafruit Micro Micro USB charger....

I’ve always found optical illusions fun and intriguing. In fact, I like them so much that I visited the Museum of Illusions three times. In this video, Andrew Steele shares an interesting optical illusion that tricks your brain into seeing a black and white photo in color. Of course, I tried it. It works, and it’s really trippy.
