It seems that “Selfie Stupidity” isn’t going to stop any time soon. In this latest act of idiocy, French woman Muriel Benetulier was attacked by a crocodile in the Khao Yai National Park while posing for a photo with it. Bangkok Post reports that according to Khao Yai park rangers, the attack occurred on Sunday afternoon. Mrs Benetulier and her husband spotted a crocodile around 2m (6’6″) in length basking in the sun near a canal....

There isn’t a lot of information on this one yet, but Fujifilm is expected to possibly be making an announcement on January 27th for the new Fuji GFX 100S. Probably the most surprising thing about it, though, will be the price, which is anticipated to be a relatively measly $5,999 – putting it well into high end DSLR/mirrorless pricing territory. The camera, which has been long in the making, will feature a medium format 102-megapixel back-side illuminated sensor and phase detection autofocus....

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy A52s 5G is currently picking up the September security update in several European countries, including Germany, France, Spain, the UK, and the Netherlands. The new firmware version is A528BXXS1AUHA and it’s unlikely to bring any notable user-facing change. The unlocked Galaxy S20 units are receiving the new update with the firmware version G98xU1UES2DUH2. That for the Galaxy S21 series is G99xU1UES4AUH9. Neither phone is seemingly getting any new features apart from this month’s vulnerability fixes....
