The Galaxy S21 FE may not become available until the very end of Q4

The phone may not become available until the very end of Q4. The report claims that the device was supposed to arrive in August, but Samsung’s plans were pushed back by nearly four months. Samsung’s plans apparently got completely messed up. The device was originally supposed to launch in Q3, but the global chip shortage managed to make a mess of things. A recent report suggested that the phone will get announced in September. That’s still a possibility, though based on this report, the device may not become available anytime soon. Though, if it’s going to become available at the end of Q4, chances are it won’t get announced in September. We’ll see. The phone was expected to become official alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4 series, and Buds 2 earlier this month. That didn’t happen, obviously.

Considering everything, Samsung is lowering its sales goals for the phone. It reduced its expectations by nearly 3 million units. It was expecting to sell mid-10 million units, and it now believes that number will sit below the 10 million mark. Do note that the company is planning to sell between 6 and 7 million foldable smartphones in the second half of the year. The Galaxy S20 FE was an extremely popular smartphone. It was essentially the company’s flagship killer, as it offered flagship-grade specs, and its price tag was not that high. There are a lot of Galaxy S20 FE users out there that would love to get their hands on the S21 FE. Well, they may have to wait even longer. If this report is to be believed, the Galaxy S21 FE is not even close to being released.
