If you’re a photographer, you’re going to love this series. It’s extremely inspiring, gorgeous to watch and so insightful to get inside the heads of fellow photographers (although it would have been nice to see a more even mix of female photographers). And while the photographers are the stars of the show – what I was absolutely captivated by was the live action footage captured by cinematographer Abraham Joffe and his crew for the series. It’s one thing to see how a still image is captured and then see the finished photograph – but its a whole other level when you realize that the entire series is just as amazing (if not more so) than those individual still photographs. As a photographer, I appreciate the craft of photography – but the work and attention to detail that must have gone into the cinematography is truly stunning!
